NCR to Leverage Minisoft’s eFORMz to Take 2ST Labels to Retailers and Manufacturers Around the World
SNOHOMISH, Wash.—January 14, 2014—Minisoft Inc., a leading provider of forms generation, transactional email, CRM, two-sided thermal label and legacy connectivity solutions, is pleased to announce that it has formed a strategic alliance with NCR. Minisoft’s eFORMz will be used in conjunction with NCR’s two-sided (2ST™) thermal label-printing technology.
2ST thermal label printing uses two thermal printheads to duplex print on a thermal coated label. This label is called a DuplexPackSlip®, a Premier Print creation. Traditionally, companies have had to print a packing slip and shipping label, manually match them, and apply them separately. With eFORMz integration, NCR’s two-sided thermal label-printing technology has changed all of this. Shipping and order output is simultaneously printed on the front and back sides of the same label.
Minisoft’s eFORMz automatically “marries” output from a shipping solution with output from ERP or order management software. eFORMz analyzes the output, matches it, formats it, and sends it to the printer. The shipping label and packing slip is printed simulataneously on one 2-sided label, increasing accuracy, efficiency and savings, while minimizing consumables use.
NCR’s Interactive Printer Solutions division will be selling Minisoft’s eFORMz to their customers and prospects worldwide.
