Check your eFORMz version number
When contacting Minisoft Support, it is helpful to include what version of eFORMz you have installed. Your license file might not state the version that runs on your system. Here are two ways to check the eFORMz version that runs on your system.
Composer
Start the eFORMz Composer. The version is at the top of the window:
Command Prompt
Launch a command prompt (Windows, Linux, Mac, iSeries) and navigate to the directory where eFORMz is installed:
Windows default: C:\Minisoft\eFORMz_6
Linux default: /opt/minisoft or /minisoft
iSeries default: /minisoft
Then run the following java command (which assumes that the Java command is in the path – if not, you’ll need to prefix “java
” with the full path to the Java command):
java -jar Run.jar – com.minisoft.Check
The output from this command will look something like the following:
Checking now… 00330-50000-00000-AAOEM Check - eFORMz, version 11.03.10 Check - Licensed to Acme Products, eDIRECT PLUS Enabled, activeFORMz Enabled
