Running the Service Manager as a Service
1. Depending on your version of Windows, you can open a run box by pressing the Windows logo key+R or select Start and then typing “cmd” into the search box . Open a Command Prompt window, type cmd.exe, press return and enter the following:
Java -version
If the command prompt returns an instance of Java running on the machine (1.8 or higher), then move to the next step. If it doesn’t, install Java: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
2. Under Start > Programs > eFORMz 11 > Windows Services, select either Service Manager – Create or Service Manager (64-bit) – Create. On newer versions of Windows, search for Service Manager (64-bit) – Create and run the program.
